Today we are going to talk about the progressive skill tree system that sits at the core of the Dynamic Roleplaying System and helps players perform those key signature moves that will give the game its cinematic feel.

Each character in the game will start with a selection of the basic skills, which always start at level one; as they progress in these skills in the game by overcoming the encounters they face and earn experience points, they can gradually increase the level of mastery over their skill.

However, at certain levels of the skill the player can choose to unlock a more powerful skill or ability and start to progress this skill as well. These new skills will make them more successful at crafting or negotiating a treaty with a king. Or help them to becoming a warrior of reckoning on the battlefield.

The sets of skills are split into 3 tiers: tier 1 is for standard skills, tier 2 for advanced skills and, finally, tier 3 for elite skills.

In total the Dynamic Roleplaying System currently has over 300 hundred skills for players to mix and match to build their perfect fantasy hero, though success with the kickstarter may introduce a 4th Legendary tier.

We’ve linked an example of one of the skill trees, though, as with all things, is subject to change.
